We have created two quick reference guides that support best practice in order to avoid cold storage issues. There is one providing advice on storage of vaccination in a refrigerator and one covering use of cool boxes. These were created with reference to The Green Book (Chapter 3) and PHE Vaccine Incident Guidance.
The quick reference guides are designed to be used by anyone who has a role in maintaining the cold chain of COVID-19 vaccines. They can be used when developing local protocols and procedures, and displayed in areas where fridges or cool boxes are in use for storing COVID-19 vaccine.
