Since this edition of NICE Bites was published, NICE has amended the ‘treat to target’ recommendations to clarify that multiple disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs can be offered one after the other to achieve treatment targets. NICE Bites is a monthly prescribing bulletin published by North West Medicines Information centre which summarises key recommendations from NICE guidance. NICE Bites No 109, July/August 2018, includes one topic: Rheumatoid arthritis in adults (NICE NG100).
