The standard operating procedure for ordering Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine has been suspended.
We have been informed by the NHS England (Primary Care COVID-19 Vaccination Programme team) that local vaccination supply is currently operated through a push model where sites are notified of their proposed allocations for specific delivery dates and they have the opportunity to accept or decline the supply. They are working towards an automated model of delivering vaccines that will enable local vaccination sites to request additional supply as required. Further updates will be provided as developments progress.
