This event is aimed at healthcare professionals who are involved in medicines governance including the development, management and use of PGDs and other legal mechanisms. This session will look at new and anticipated legislation, resources and developments which will support those involved in medicines governance including PGD/legal mechanisms use. The team will also provide an update on the SPS Medicines Governance Do Once (MGDO) programme.
If you have any specific questions you would like answered there will an opportunity to raise these with the team in advance and we will answer as many as we can during the webinar.
Why it’s important
This session will support those who are involved in medicines governance including the management and development of PGDs and other legal mechanisms use to ensure they are up to date on recent legislation changes and guidance relating to practice. The team will also provide an update on the MGDO programme resources including PGD and other templates and supporting governance principles.
What will be covered
- Recently implemented and potential legislation changes and how these will affect PGDs/legal mechanisms.
- Updated guidance, training resources and supporting advice that have been recently published.
- Updating attendees on the SPS Medicine Governance Do Once programme including new, updated and planned PGD templates and other governance resources.
- Updating attendees on the SPS website and changes to the PGD and legal mechanisms pages to support users.
