A network day for Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians working in Community Health Services will take place on 22 June at NCVO in London (near King’s Cross).
Ann Jacklin will begin the day by updating us on the work she is leading for NHS Improvement on the next phase of Carter and how it will impact on Community Health services. A workshop will allow organisations to feedback on the productivity and efficiency agenda.
Allison Newman from the CQC will then update us on the changes to the CQC inspection process and provide us with examples of what good Medicines Optimisation looks like in a CHS organisation.
Many of us have heard about the “Primary Care Home” model of multispecialty community provider, but are unsure what this means in practice. One of the rapid test sites will share their experiences with us.
