Safety in Lactation: Drugs used in neutropenia

These drugs are recombinant analogues of, and virtually identical to, naturally occurring granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (GSF), which is normally found in breast milk. They stimulate the production of neutrophils. After injection, they are unlikely to be excreted into milk in clinically significant amounts or absorbed by the infant.
