Ann Jacklin began the day by updating us on the work she is leading for NHS Improvement on the next phase of Carter and how it will impact on Community Health services. The workshop allowed organisations to feedback on the productivity and efficiency agenda.
Allison Newman from the CQC then updated us on the changes to the CQC inspection process and provided us with examples of what good Medicines Optimisation looks like in a CHS organisation.
Many of us had heard about the “Primary Care Home” model of multispecialty community provider, but were unsure what this meant in practice. One of the rapid test sites shared their experiences with us.
