This Masterclass is designed to raise participant awareness of using different consultative styles to improve adherence. The half day learning event will include a review of behavioural methods for supporting medicines adherence and an exploration of how these can be used in common short pharmacy-patient encounters. You will have the opportunity to consider how these can contribute to your pharmacy consultations wherever you encounter patients, be that in dispensary, on wards/units, in clinics or in the domiciliary setting. The aim of this event is to help you understand methods of providing adherence support in order to Increase the proportion of patients taking their medicines as intended.
