Wednesday 21 April from 13.00 – 14.00
This webinar addresses the recent increase in inappropriate use of antipsychotics in people with dementia
This was first highlighted in 2009 by Dr Sube Banerjee and his report led to significant improvements in practice. In this webinar you will learn how the use of antipsychotics has increased again in recent months.
A consultant pharmacist expert will update you on new developments in the treatment of behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia and you will hear from an expert nurse about how to manage antipsychotics and alternative treatments in primary care practice.
