This webinar will provide a brief introduction to dysphagia in the context of how different types of thickeners can be used to ensure safe medicines administration.
A new set of resources, produced jointly by the NHS Specialist Pharmacy Service Medicines Information and Medicines use and safety team, will be introduced followed by two case studies, from hospital to care home and from GP to community.
Speakers include experts from Speech and Language therapy, pharmacy and a patient expert.
