The Community Health Service (CHS) network is a group of practitioners (providers and commissioners) with an interest in care provided outside acute settings. In general terms CHS are services that are provided in people’s homes, or as near to home as possible, through health centres, clinics, intermediate care facilities and community hospitals.
The group aims to share learning and good practice, with an emphasis on practical solutions. Learning events are held each year.
You can join the CHS network by registering on this site. When you have registered you then need to amend your profile under “Networks”. First select “Medicines Use and Safety Networks” then “Community Health Services”. Finally tick the box to receive updates from SPS before saving your profile.
