Group formed as a subgroup of the Nottinghamshire-wide Infection, Prevention and Control Group December 2015
Cross organisational work to agree a common AMR message for Nottinghamshire and lead locally on the national AMR strategy
The Group won an Antibiotic Guardian Prescribing and Stewardship Award for their work on improving management of urinary tract infections 2017
Membership
In addition to primary care, mental health and community hospitals and acute trust representatives (Nottingham University Hospitals , Nottinghamshire Healthcare and Sherwood Forest NHS Trusts) the group has local veterinary , dentistry, private provider, public health (local PHE and Notts county council) and lay member representatives.
