All healthcare professionals and others involved with PGDs such as commissioners can access this PGD e-learning programme and associated tools such as a template PGD with guidance notes for “how to write a PGD” .

This was developed by the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) to support healthcare professionals who develop, authorise, review, update or use PGDs to deliver services in line with legislation and National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidance.

The programme helps people, at whatever stage they might be involved in the process, to understand how to make sure that PGDs are developed, authorised and used safely.

Pharmacists and pharmacy staff (or those registered with CPPE) can access the programme via the CPPE website link below.

This e-learning programme is also available via the e-Learning for Health hub and via the National Learning Management System for non-pharmacy staff via the link below.
