Vaccinations and changes to the Human Medicines Regulations since COVID: what it means for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
Jo Jenkins will be talking about recent legislation changes and what this means for pharmacy professionals in practice. She will be joined by:

Medication safety
On Friday 8 May from 14.15 to 18.00 Emma Kirk, Anna Bischler and Jen Flatman will be facilitating four sessions dedicated to medication safety. The sessions are for Medication Safety Officers (MSOs) and healthcare professionals with a passion to improve medication safety.
Medication Safety Leaders Unite
Emma Kirk and Tony Jamieson, Patient Safety Specialist and Clinical Improvement Lead, NHS England, will be talking about the national landscape for medication safety and how attendees can lead local medication safety initiatives to improve patient care.

Putting the patient at the centre of medication safety
Jen Flatman will be taking about how lived experience is critical to medication safety initiatives and how to effectively involve patients in the codesign of improvement projects.

Embedding medication safety in PSIRF
Emma Kirk and Anna Bischler will discuss the barriers to effective implementation of the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) experienced by MSOs. They will share exemplar practice for local replication.
