Jo is a pharmacist with a career that has spanned a range of pharmacy sectors. Jo was recently the Lead Pharmacist for Palliative Care and Community Services for an integrated acute and community trust. In this role, Jo developed her interest in ensuring patients and families have the right medicines at the right time at this stage of life. Jo is part of the editorial board of the ‘Green Book’ – the Wessex Palliative Care Guidelines.

Jo is now the lead pharmacist for a community services provider, supporting community-based teams with everything related to medicines, including for patients in palliative and end of life phases. Jo is also currently working on a short-term project with SPS, focused on the safe use of medicines in palliative and end of life care.
