This drop-in session has been developed in light of the recent updates to the clinical trials regulation affecting NHS pharmacy services. The MHRA clinical trials hub provides further information and guidance.
Why it’s important
Understanding and implementing the updated clinical trials regulation is essential to strengthen patient safety and accelerate trial set-up and approval, whilst ensuring regulatory compliance. Pharmacy teams are instrumental in supporting these aims.
This session will help attendees understand:
- how to prepare for the updated clinical trials regulation that comes into force on 28 April 2026
- the practical impact of the new regulation in pharmacy

- pharmacy clinical trials teams
- aseptic services and radiopharmacy services teams
- chief pharmacists, R&D managers
