Speakers from NHS England will share key developments shaping medicines optimisation and pharmacy services in health and justice. This will include an update from the National Pharmaceutical Advisor and programme leads. There will be an opportunity to ask questions, and to share ideas and best practice.
Why it’s important
This Health and Justice event continues to be the main opportunity for practitioners to hear about key programmes and service improvements for detained people.

- Updates on current on-going national programmes including antibiotic stewardship and tamper evident bags
- Information about upcoming national programmes including safe use of valproate
- Facilitated discussion on planning for EPS-day 28-day supply of discharge medicines
